Happy School in der Ukraine

We are filled with gratitude after having finished two three-day courses of 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 for teachers in 𝙐𝙠𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚 in November. The first was for 60 Principals and Leaders of 30 Schools, which are involved in the OECD Ukraine school reform.

This time we worked with 28 teachers from 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙞𝙖 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 25 in the town of 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙞𝙖, 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙐𝙠𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚. It was an amazing experience. Inspite of the challenging situation in these times of war, the  teachers were most enthusiastic and committed to be the pioneers of Happy School. They went deep into the topic of the first module of Social Emotional Learning: 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚. It was beautiful and humbling to observe how they opened up throughout the training, and connected with a sense of warmth and happiness, which you can really see on the happy smiles on their faces.Thanks to all of you for the fulfilling time we had together in your beautiful school. The quote from Bhutan´s Minister of Education – “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩” became the motto of the training.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again in module 2 which will probably be in January 2025.
